Top removal
Hold the film spindle with something while turning the rewind knob counter-clockwise
Top removed
Bottom removal
Front removal
From here you can remove the whole shutter and lens if you like.
Focus and shutter repair
Here you can put a few drops of lighter fluid and work the shutter to see if things loosen up. If you study the mechinism you'll see that from the back you can cock the shutter.
Here is the shutter split into 2 pieces. This where I had to clean the blades individually. to get to this you will need to line up 3 screws in the back by rotating the outer chrome ring the removing the screws. Be careful here, shutter blades tend to fly.
I spent alot of time just looking and seeing how things worked, it was pretty straight foward after I understood what did what.
Hope this helps.
Michael

Your welcome Julio, I couldn't have done it without Dean. I really like the camera and it is fun to work on.

This is to darn cool. I have one of these suckers sitting in the glove box of my boat. It's been there about a year  . I figure that has to be about the worst place imaginable to store a camera, but hey I'm a dummie...... Next trip to the boat and it comes home for a total strip down. Since I'm a total klutz I'm sure it will never work again but it will be fun trying
