Thought I'd add another photo here so we have something to talk about.   Another view of Blandford Church and cemetary.  Same FED3b, 35mm J-12, TMAX 100 in Diafine.  This is a simple scan of the negative with minimal levels correction in PSE3.

I like this one a lot better than the one with the tree.  That's not to say one is better than the other in any objective sense, I just like this composition better.  There's a sort of tension with the blank brick wall interposed between the gate and the church door, and there isn't the feeling of interruption produced by the tree getting in the way; it suits my idea of "correctness" better than the other (though there's more than adequate evidence that my ideas are no more correct than anyone else's when it comes to the artistic merit of an image).

Exposure and focus look very good, within the limits of the scan -- it would look really good as a print.

Yeah, I do like the composition of this shot better than the other, too. Very nice. Yellow filter on the lens? Nice formation/definition of the cloulds in the background... they fill-in the space between the trees and the peak of the church nicely!

This could be because of the scan but a little under-exposed in the background? Nice contrast in the foreground but on my screen anyway, the bricks look a little washed out. But could be because of my screen and/or the web.

I think you got it all right here. Very nicely done. I especially like the remaining detail in the foreground shadow. I just feel it's more natural  seeing some detail there. All the better to see detail so you don't fall into any open holes.

Just a niggle or two.  Posted as is, I can't see the full vertical without scrolling, but also I think that the bottom needs cropping.  You've got the church nicely framed at the top with the leaves, but the bottom contains a little dead space.  I'd crop it on a line running from half-way between the base of the bricks on the right and the bottom of the pic.  Better balance, IMHO.
