Today was world pinhole day. Did you break out your pinholes? I did! Post some results here. These are also my first pinhole shots.

3pm shot. I had to work today, so these were all taken on my lunch break.

Those are some great shots apocaplops.

I took 8 shots between 1:55 and 2:20 CST.  Here are three of the shots.

I definitely need to work on my sheet film development technique. I was using the "taco method" and when I opened up the tank it looked like more of a taco casserole than 8 individual tacos. But I got out and had some fun so I will mark it as a success.

I shot color so I need to get me to a nunnery - I mean, a color lab.

I saw at least one other pinholista out at Central Park yesterday. Some kind of cardboardish boxy thing. Funny - pinholistas seem to develop (sorry) the same pinhole movement when shooting. Set the camera down, look & aim, reposition, remove the lens cap, back a step, then swoop back in with the lens cap as if catching a dwaddling pigeon.

I have to get mine developed too; I used Fuji NPS 160. I've never done pinhole before, so I made a pinhole out of a Chinese takeaway rice container, and taped it into a lens plate for my Century Graphic (I would have used a tea-tin, but it had tea in it). I tried several different focal lengths, so that will be interesting to see (if any of my stuff worked at all!)

I went into town. With such long exposures, I had buses driving across, and even stopping in-frame for a few seconds.

I have to give the lens plate back to the lens that owns it, but if this stuff is any good, I'll make a plate for pinhole; it's nothing extra to carry, is it?

Hope to post some in a few days.

Great Pics.  I like the shots, but the blues are cool!  I tried color too and will check at noon to see if they came out.  Great to see some interest here.

I took my former electron microscope camera for a walk, and found these...

Close to the house, this blackberry bush was in full bloom -- don't recall seeing any fruit here last year, though; maybe the birds get it before it's really ripe?

Down at City Lake, the source of my tap water (and people wonder why I don't like drinking tap water!), a couple Canada geese were hanging out -- one preening on a semi-sunken log, the other drifting slowly on the water.  I *swear* I thought I had the camera level...

Just a few steps from the other shot, this narrow little channel leads from a washed-out culvert in a fire road.  I was hoping to catch one of the local map turtles sunning, but had to settle for this instead...

And on the way back, I found this spot where sunlight found its way to the ground.  Had to crop a little; overlapping film in the developing tube left a blank patch...  Sad

Erich, they're outstanding - what a great first effort. What shutter set-up did you end up using for your pinholaroid?
