Craig,

Hope a technical question about the board is OK.  The text of some messages doesn't seem to wrap for me.  For example, see the long lines in http://nelsonfoto.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=112.  Yet, others seem to wrap just fine.  Using IE 6.x.  Just looked at that same message thread in Mozilla, and it seems to wrap OK.  Anyone else experiencing this?

I think that the problem is mostly with the oversized pictures that are being included with some messages.  If people would keep their in-line pictures at 800 pixels or less in width, the text would wrap properly and be a lot more enjoyable reading.

Exactly, Mike -

Mike Elek's image is fairly wide, which in turn extends the table data cell. Text will wrap - thread-wide - at the width of the widest data cell.

This will also happen if you paste a LOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNG web address into a thread, which is why the LINK syntax is preferable to encapsulating an extremely length link in http://LONGURL tags.

Just looked at this again and I also see there is a wrapping problem in that thread with IE, but not with Mozilla.  So, it looks like Mozilla will handle an 800 pixel image ok, but not IE.  I still think we would see less of the problem with slightly smaller pictures, but the browser performance and screen resolution are still going to occasionally complicate things.
