Just wanted to share...just got these online - $8 USD for the first and $11 USD for the second. (+ shipping, which in both cases cost more than the cameras)

The first is a 35mm Agfa Silette Vario (late 50s?) Bulb, 1/25, 1/50, 1/200 - apertures from 3.5-16.

The second is a 120 format (6x6) Click II (60s?) one shutter speed (1/30?), and setting for Sunny (with built-in yellow filter), Cloudy, and close (8-13 feet).

What I find interesting is that they are both about the same size - even considering they are different formats.

I have a colour roll in the Silette, and just developed a roll of Plus-X from the Click II. I will share when I have something digitized.

EDIT: I know I mentioned the Click II in another post - just thought I would share both with images...

Andre, congratulations. I took my first 35 mm pictures with a Silette like yours in 1964, using the Sunny 16 rule and estimating distances.

I think the Vario is the name of the shutter and that the camera is a Silette (maybe somebody can explain more here).  IIRC the Agnar is not a bad lens specially stopped down.

The camera is simple, small and convenient, a good travel or carry anywhere camera.

Post some pics!

THose Vario shutters always had a goofy speed sequence, such as 25 / 75 / 200, etc. Never could figure out what they were thinking. Some of these cameras were equipped with the Color Apotar, which should be quite good. If you get one with a Solinar, it's excellent.  have a couple of Silettes around here somewhere, with heavy cleaning marks o the glass. When I dig out the right box and find them, I will offer them to whoever wants 'em.

The little Silettes are nice cameras, and the right size that you can always have one with you.  The Color Agnar is quite good, really.  I have one very similar to yours, with the brightline finder, and Pronto shutter.  Same lens, though.
If you want to see some samples of what the lens can do at middling apertures check my Silette page: http://home.rmci.net/deanw/Agfa_Silette.html

Andre,
Those both are very pretty.
As you can see from other posts here and on P Net I adore the Clacks (and their little 6x6 Clicks).
That Solinette is clean, elegant and simple.
No more than what you need to take pics. No less either.
Scale focusing viewfinder cameras have far less to go wrong with them than other types.
You just have more to think about when you shoot.
But thats how we learn isn't it?

Finally got the roll shot and processed.

After using a Halina Paulette, which is similar in layout and function, my expectations were low. However, I was blown away by the quality of the Agfa Silette.

I will pick up some prints from the Click II this evening....

I think you got a winner there. I have done a lot of wildlife photography and birds like the one in your album can be difficult when it comes to capturing feather texture and getting correct color rendition. You pretty much nailed it. Better hang on to that camera.

Nice results; looks like very similar quality to the Clack.  I'm surprised the close-up setting can only get you down to 8 feet.  The Clack close-up setting gets you down to 1-3 meters with a 95mm lens.  Since the lens on the Click is 72.5mm, it seems like the Agfa designers should have been able to do at least as well.  Might be worth trying some one meter shots.
