Approx 50 yards between shots. Very different pictures of the same thing.

Three fine shots.  You're not entitled to any complaint.

For me, the subject is that great curve of the mountain slopes in the middle distance.  The first shot is a good idea with the strong foreground interest, but it seems to obscure the main subject.  The second shot shows a nice mirror image, but seems to me to be a bit too static with the scene divided near the midpoint.  

The last shot brings the elements nicely together; just enough foreground interest to provide some framing, while the tones and perspective lead the eye into the scene.

I agree there.  And it makes me think I'd like to do the same thing one time ... it gives an idea of how differently three people might view what could be the same thing, but actually never is.
