So then, my Practica FX-2 ('55) and my Pentax MX ('80) can sleep together here! ... They get to workout next week.

I'm interested to see your Praktica FX-2 results here! That's a camera I've always desired. I even have a manual for an FX-3... but no corresponding camera!

Kai - I'm hoping the Praktica will arrive tomorrow and that it will quickly be ready to go. I got it from the Bay and it
was
cheap. It doesn't have the original lens but a related 35mm, but my main interest was having a chimney finder for 35mm format. I've found half a dozen sites about the series, mainly in Europe, but not many users. Look out for one!

I have the plain ol' Praktica but it's pretty much the same system. I have the Biotar 58mm f2 lens, which I love - A LOT!
Here's some samples:

My Praktica just arrived today. Looks dirty, but sounds good. It'll take a few days to sort it. Mine has a Hanimex 35mm lens ... hope the shots come as clean as yours, Kirk.
