these are just a few i took over the weekend of sept 17-18 for my photography class assignment of buildings.  i think they turned out ok for my first "real" assignment.

i was using a Canon Rebel Eos GII, 75-300mm lens (clock), 35-80mm lens (fire extinguisher), and a 50mm fixed (amphitheater).  the shutter speeds and f/stops veried (have them written down but they are out in my jeep atm).

You might enjoy looking up a couple of photos which resemble your amphitheater shot; they are Stadium by Tina Modotti, and Mills College Amphitheater by Imogene Cunningham.  Both pictures were made in the 1920's; a lot has been written since about them.
