Having no knowledge of the digital realm I want to know if a scanner such as the Epson 4490 can scan 16mm submini negs. I think it's about time to consider the film/scanning option for both posting on the web and eventually printing via ink jet some negs. I want to keep the wet darkroom but  also have other options. Any information gratefully recived, thanks.

I've scanned 110 negs by slipping them into a slide mount. Prolly not the ideal flatness solution, tho a mount with glass could help that. Scratching is also a small problem, especially if you plan to wet print afterwards. I just place the slide mount on the scanner glass--using the slide holder causes the film to push the slide up too much.

I've been moderately successful with some stereo views since they're an odd size,  mounted.  some are flat enough some aren't.  I have been thinking about making up a cardboard jig of sorts to support 110 in the holder for 35mm for Epson scanning.  I think it would work.  A few attempts with an exacto knife and trying not to leave too many blood stains on it.  I don't have enough 110 film backed up to make me do it yet though.
