Just finished a short review of the Werra 3 that I bought from Kirk. A very nice camera.I'll probably make small adjustments to the article as I find errors. If you see any, let me know. It's hard to edit your own stuff.

I think I've solved one of the issues with SimpleViewer. By using Javascript to create a new popup window of a fixed size, it prevents the Flash applet from resizing the images from the original dimensions.
The downside is that the popup window is a bit too large for 800x600 monitors.
If anyone wants to steal the Javascript or wants more info, let me know.

Luckily, the camera had been serviced earlier by KEH. I adjusted the rangefinder on the Werra 3.
I'm currently working on another Werra that I've had for some time -- the shutter is very balky, and I'll probably have to go into it a third time. The Prestor shutter appears to be a very complex device -- much more than you might expect from a "simple" leaf shutter.

Very interesting write-up Mike. Nice shots as well - particularly like your leaves and the backlit trees.

Lovely camera, nice write-up. Didn't you buy a Favorit not long ago? Have you plumbed the mysteries of it yet?

Interesting camera, and you got some very nice performance from it. Are there framelines for the different lenses? Any parallax correction feature?

Nice write-up, now that I've finally had time to give it a read.
I'd normally expect A and Z for open and close on a camera. Any native speakers of German? Mine is passable but not so great anymore.

Mike C -- let me add that comment to it. Briefly, There are framelines for the three lenses with parallax marks. However, the framelines are static -- they don't move.
