Congratulations are in order! Feels wonderful, yes!? I just placed three more images today, all from the bike rally. Nice glossy spread.

Keep after it, bud!

Very nice Andre. It appears she at ease with the photographer also. I've found that makes a big difference in my photos.

I had a little more 'practice' a couple of days ago - taking some outdoor portraits of some friend's kids. We had an agereement that they would  cover the film and dev costs.

Better than nothing! Cheesy

Will share soon.

Well, I've got an assignment to "take pictures for money" this coming Thursday, but it's a property inspection, not anything involving actual compositional skills -- strictly documentatory, images of an apartment block, neighborhood, and inside several apartments so a lender can verify the condition of their collateral.

Still, it'll cost nothing for materials except a dollar or so in gas, a CD to burn the digicam images onto (but I'll be taking my Petri 7S, automatic flash with extra batteries, and two rolls of Max 800 as a backup, just in case), and Express Mail (which I get reimbursed), and the pay will be enough to restock my badly depleted film supply, lay in some fodder for my Polaroid(s), and refill my empty paper safe -- and there's the possibility of repeat business, so I'm pretty happy with the deal.  Smiley

Well done, Andre.  I have taken more photos of my family and their horses over the years than I care to look at, so I know that it's not that easy a subject.  If I were your co-worker I would be very happy indeed because you have done an excellent job.  Bravo!
