I am a dog guy, but have always had a favorite cat or two.  The cat below belongs to a younger family who are our close friends. I was at their house for their son's seventh birthday party.  The cat was looking out the front door late in the evening with the light falling on him and highlighting his whiskers when I snaped this picture on Reala with my FE and Nikkor 50.

I decided to flip it over and darken the rug because it looks like a Tuxedo Cat impersonating the cat in Alice in Wonderland---Chesire, I think.

Go easy on me.  Which do you prefer.  All coments welcome.

I like that! Especially the first one is great bcs of the unusual pose, but I would try to leave out the carpet, like in the 2nd shot.

The first one, the first one.

But go easy on the darkening of the background.  Your PS needs to be invisible.
