A few images from a recent road trip.  Thanks for your input.

Nice compositions.

Is that an old classic camera you've got there?

No, not this time.  Fell back to my comfort zone, an F-1 with 20/2.8 and 55/1.2 Film was the last of my TMAX.  The first photo didn't scan very well; a lot of curl in the film, had a hard time getting it flat.  Just re-scanned it, much better...

1 and 3 are very good compositions, congratulations!

Since this is critique...I would have loved to see longer shadows in #3! Anyway it is my favorite of the series.

I always feel like travel pictures benefit from a bit of commentary to answer some of the obvious questions.  Of course, you did say it was a road trip, but they are nice shots, and the series makes me curious about the details.  I'm going to guess that the bridge is on the Sacramento Delta.

Thanks Julio.

Your right, I would have much prefered shooting #3 in the afternoon, but I've learned to live with the limitations of traveling with 3 kids.  It really gets fun when I'm trying to hold a steady shot, and my 6 year old son is leaning against my leg Smiley  Its all worth it though, they are a blast to travel with and all of them enjoy photography.

Mike the 1st image is taken at the Benbow Lodge, near Garberville.  We stay at an RV park next to the lodge.  The lodge is beautiful, but very expensive.  A family of 5 to have dinner there, can run close to 2 bills.

The 2nd photo is out of sequence and was taken on the way back in the Sac Delta.  Not a spectacular photo, I hope to re-visit the spot later.

The last photo was taken at the lost coast, NW of Garberville.  Truly a beautiful location.  We only had a day there, another place I going to spend more time at.  Have some really nice chromes with the Rollei, but still don't have the MF scanner.

They're all wonderful, but that last one is stunning.  Really nice.
