There's been a delay with my printing, but I finally found the negative I've been intending to print just yesterday. Plan to make prints tomorrow, and should have them in the mail - soon.  |

Cool - I figured you were holed up on some freezing cold rig in the middle of the North Sea! Hey, if you want real adventure and wild weather, they are thinking of getting some rigs off the southern coast, in the Great South Basin. The quote from one engineer was "it'll make the North Sea look like a mill-pond...." |

Here's the prints mounted and masked. I've stuck them in the window, now just a question of time. I'll check in about 3 months time, then I'll move them to a spot that is sunny in the winter, check again at the end of winter, etc.  |

They are still sitting in the window!
It is winter now, so I thought I'd wait till spring or the beginning of summer before breaking them out of their frames - that would give them about a year.
Two "control" prints, one inkjet and one commercial fuji print were placed "naked" in the window. They have not fared too well, both suffering obvious fading. From looking at the ones in the frame, they look to have done a little better, but I'll know for sure when I take them out.

Winter there huh, well 92 fahrenheit here today and very humid. Reading electric meters in this heat is not fun.

Yep, I can relate to that -- no A/C in the tool repair shop. :p And a heat advisory on for tomorrow, high temp expected to run 99-102 F (that's 38-41 C, for the rest of the world), and humidity likely above 50% (started this morning with fog at 75F).
