Yeah... loving it, too.  And I just realised I might have goofed by posting the Pentacon shot in the classic section.  I haven't a clue when my particular P-six was made, but there's a good chance it could have been post-1970.  Oh well, the design is certainly pre-1970!

I have one (P6) on its way... Oh what have I let myself in for :-)

Where exactly are you (region).  I spent some time in Genoa, leaning Italian there, and consequently ending up with a curious foreign-Genoese accent!

Hi Paul,
I'm in the north-east, in the provence of Friuli-Venizia-Giulia, about an hour's drive or so north of Venice.

I was a bit dubious about the P6 for a long time - I was especially worried about the mirror slap [mine has no mirror-lockup modification].  Anyway, I had no reason to be worried, having finally taken the plunge.  It's a bit of a monster in size (compared to a folder), but I suppose no more so than many 6x6 reflex systems.  Mind you, that TTL viewfinder is such a heavy hunk of metal & glass that I mostly use the waistlevel finder with it.  The lenses are terrific (I just have the 80mm Biometar and the 50mm Flektogon - both MC - so far... the coveted 180mm is next on my list).

I'm sure you'll enjoy having it when it arrives - it's a really well-built camera, IMHO.  Make sure you learn the "Baier technique" of film advance if you have any frame spacing problems.  Mine doesn't have a problem, but I use The Technique anyway, just in case.
