So here's what I was trying to send you-
So that's where it went!! Cool
It should be from about 1 1/2 years ago during RAGBRAI in Estherville. I knew I shot two rolls in the Holga but I could never find the second. It never occured to me to look in the camera because I was positive that I actually developed it and could remember looking at the images on the negatives. I just couldn't understand how I could lose a whole roll of negatives.
I'd appreciate it if you could go ahead and develop it. I haven't developed any B&W film in over a year now and I don't know if my fixer is still gonna be fresh or not. If there happens to be something interesting (doubtful) on the roll I'll happily pay for you to ship it back to me along with a few $$ for the development.
Thanks,
Alan

Alan,
Thanks for the heads up on my PM box. Fixed now.
I'm happy to develop the roll. What IE did you expose it at? No need to send any green. If ya wanna cover postage, cool.

What IE did you expose it at? It's a Holga....what choice did I have?? I've been trying to remember since I got your message. It was overcast and I can remember taking some light meter readings trying to decide between ISO 100 and 400. I can't remember if the 400 needed any pull or not. I'll look at the other roll to see if it was 100 or 400 and if I have any notes about development time. I'll let you know in a bit. Alan

I wonder if the great bald leader would consider upping the PM limit?
Personally, I have about 30 messages I need to keep on average, so I have to pretty carefully maintain my PM box, especially I keep wiping the sent box.

I prefer to be henceforth referred to as Our Glorious Most Benevolent and Omniscient Leader, Who is Rivaled Not Even by the Sun, and to Whom We Pledge Our Nikons - Hail Him!
As for the PM counts, I'll think on it a bit. Note that you have the option of downloading your PMs to your localmachine.

I think we can bridge the rank and file with the leadership by adding: ...Whose Bald Pate is Rivaled Not Even by the Sun...
I noticed problems mainly during the fire sales of last month (for the GloMBOL's cause, I might add), when PMs exceeded the buckets more than once, and some slack would have helped the anonymity/privacy of the bidders at the time.
If the issue is paying for additional storage/bandwidth across the board, could you offer more PM headroom as a perq for donors at a certain level? I think there is a willingness here to contribute on par with other supported sites. What we get for free here ain't bad, and for a pack of gum a day (aren't all tax hikes hitched to that statistic?), ya get so much more.

I think we can bridge the rank and file with the leadership by adding: ...Whose Bald Pate is Rivaled Not Even by the Sun... Wasn 't it Shakespeare that wrote: My forum administrator's head Is nothing like the sun... Or maybe it was Sting. Dunno, but it was some English guy.

There should be any need for charging, though donations are always appreciated.
I need to look at some stats and determine whether I can make a significant, across-the-board increase, or perhaps add the additional PM space to legacy accounts only, or per user based on forums activity. I want to make any changes as fair as possible for all while incurring minimum increase to overhead, in order to provide the best access/service at the best price - Free.

I am willing to pay 20 bucks a month to stay here and I think I may do that but if others can't deal with a price ... I think I can cover at least one.... Sending you my monthly dues today. Not that you have dues .. more like we need some bake sales.

...perhaps add the additional PM space to legacy accounts only, or per user based on forums activity. C. I don't use PM that much, and would be willing to "donate" some of my capacity to those who need it.

PMs upgraded to 100 messages total. Let's see how that works.
