CE, I have an article-length tip that I want to publish somewhere, but it would overload the front-end of a typical forum posting.  Moreover, it ought to go through a peer-review process of some sort, at least to make sure my facts are right, before posting.  Would the PHPBB software support such an activity and document type?

In this case, I have developed an adapter for Patterson-type reels to enable them to extend to hold 70mm film.  By this, I hope to help promote the use of the 616/116 type cameras, which often have wonderful lenses and features, and are yearning for action!  The article is about 12 paragraph-length steps with occasional photos. I could put it on a web site and link to it, but that bypasses the chance for the community to validate it and stand behind it (or any other useful article from our competent community that we'd want to position to attract traffic and spread goodwill).

Other articles could be requested or contributed by other members on topics such as how to identify old cameras, how to make a 4x5 view camera, developer formulations, and other substantive, non-newsy items that typically won't fit a posting, or that get lost in the stream of forum-style responses.  Even an occasional "Gleanings" article that organizes the best of the best postings from here and there.  Thoughts?
