Don't know where to stick this but most of the cams are SLR's.

Link to someones blog with funny shots of cameras/photographers. Some are funny, some are dumb, a few are naked people (no actual weiners or nasty bits).

If you're on dial up don't even think about it.

My two favorites were the guy with the Holga on a tripod with the lens cap still on and the shot of 6 or so photographers around the people getting it on in the grass. The funny part in that one was the two people to the side standing there watching while eating off paper plates looking like nothing was going on.
