This is a series of interviews by John Loengard with some of the greatest news photographers of our era, including Alfred Eisenstaedt, Carl and Shelly Mydans, George Silk, Harry Benson, Yale Joel, Gordon Parks, Andreas Feininger, Dmitri Kessel and many others.

The interviews are really wonderful and are interspersed with work from each photographer.

In the back of the book are snapshots of the photographers, often with their camera. A nice mix of Leica, Contax, Rolleiflex, Speed Graphics and Nikon F. It's an easy read, because you can skip around and read different stories. Each only takes about five or 10 minutes.

Sounds like a great read.  I'll hope that it shows up in the local B&N without plastic wrap so that I can enjoy it there with my latte.
