Black and White magazine

I picked this up a couple of times last year and finally got myself a subscription. A little pricey, but I think it is one of the better photo magazines out there, especially when it comes to black and white.

Typical regualr sections include
- reader's galleries
- printer's art - usually a couple of people try to interpret and print the same negative
- 5 things I can't live without
- regular contibutors product reviews
- some portfolio / interviews / etc.

I think it is a good blend of new and old, and they are always talking about different films and papers. They are starting to do some digital stuff, but not much.

Worth a look, in my opinion.

Also, when you have a subscription, there is only the cover photo and the magazine name - no 'ads' for the content. Slick looking.

I also get it on subscription.  The standard is generally excellent, copy by copy.

I pick up the odd issue, one of the few photography magazines worth picking up.
