1  Gearheads / the Classics / Re: 122 film, anybody??? on: February 17, 2012, 08:08:58 AM
Hi guys. New here, but I've got at least 5 cameras in 3A format... let's see, there's a 3A Folding Autographic Brownie, a 3A Special Kodak (not the one with the rangefinder, unfortunately), a 3A Folding Brownie Model A, a 3A Premo #8 (well it would use 122 film if I could find a roll holder for it, but at the moment it's plates only), and I just acquired a 3A Graflex, which needs more work than I can afford to pay for right now, so it's going to sit and await my getting some more income.

I've been feeding these with cut-down microfiche (Ortho Copy 5125) acquired from the surplus shed, rolled in salvaged papers.

Then there's one more, which doesn't exactly fit. Seneca's so-called 3A Box Scout... which despite the name is actually a 3B. It takes 125 film. Same size pic, wider spool. Some previous owner painted "Use 122 Film" on the bottom. He was wrong.

I think I'm gonna open a new thread about that one... anybody know what size the 125 spool is supposed to be?  All the references I can find saw 3.992", but that's way off: I measured it.
