Great series, I like most the bridge picture. Thanks for sharing these.

I have not been to NY for many years, but I remember a lot of people everywhere. You managed to get few people into the frames! Maybe it is a wide-angle effect.

Simple, I shot the lower Manhattan photos on Sunday morning before 10 AM.

Nice shots. I'm there in a week and a half!

It's nice weather down there. You flying down?

Nope driving with the girlfriend. Its only about 500 miles and she can come for free if we drive Smiley

Got a place to park the car?

I've only just started, I got six rolls of 120mm HP5 and two rolls 35mm HP5 and one Delta 100. There's way more to come.

Very nice ice shots! I was actually thinking on going out and looking for something similar on my days off, but as Larry said it shot up to about 70 here on my days off. So much for that idea till it builds back up a bit. Smiley Makes me want to take the F along. I have a 50 1.4 also (great lens) but no 105 yet, just the 85 2.8 and a 28 (3.5 I think).

Get the 105 2.5 P lens Rich, that is one of Nikon's best lenses, especially for portraits.

Beautiful tones!  Lovely work here.  I assume you used a tripod for the flowing water shots, yes?

My Manfrotto tri-pod stays in my car trunk:).

Great shots, and yes crazy weather its FREEZING again... and I have an 8.9km run tonight!

Take it easy out there Mike with the black ice, I toyed with the idea of winter running but in the end I sucked out and run on an indoor track at my local Y instead averaging about 20km per week.

For all those cliches with the Great White North,  Southern Ontario has not been getting a lot of snow in fact temperatures have been up and down like a yo-yo like -25c one week and this week +14c (that's low 60s F for the the yanks). I documented this series during the cold week.

I'm going to be the contrarian here but I much prefer M-mount Leicas to their screw-mount predecessors.
