I shot bulk rolls of Plus X when it was available and processed it in Xtol.

I like the warmth of the images, are you using earlier FD glass?

Hi Brian,

Yes this was the lens you sold me. Oh boy I love this piece of glass.

Ok, I can get that from Digital Truth if I'm in a pinch. I wish B&H stocked this because their shipping to Canada is just so much cheaper and they pre-clear customs for me on top of that.

Oh HC-110 will I already switched over to the Champion stuff and as for Tri-X I see buildings burning if they decide  to cut it out.... :-)

Agreed on the burning buildings in Rochester if Tri-X production ends:). Question who sells the Champion HC110, do they call it HC110 or something else. Thankfully the yellow labeled HC110 is still available at retail in my part of North America.

I really hope Tri-X 400 and HC110 stick around in one form or another, I forgot what a nice combo this was.

I have four rolls of 120 Kodak Technical Pan 25 film circa 2005, what's the best developer and time for this lovely emulsion?

Actually I want to try out the ISO 25 Kodak Technical Pan film out in my Rolleiflex.
43  Dude, I'm Geekin' Out Over Here! / Film & Darkroom / Long term Stablity of Fridge Stored Film on: September 18, 2012, 03:52:59 AM
I was gift a big pile of medium format film last night, about 30 roll of Acros, 2 Neopan 400, some pro colour emulsions (Portra and Fuji NPH) and cue the choir: four rolls of Kodak Tech Pan 25. All this has been freezer stored for the past 8-10 years. Should I adjust my developing with this newfound bounty?
44  Gearheads / Bigger Is Better / Re: More fun with a Borrowed Hasselblad 500CM on: September 16, 2012, 08:06:37 PM
I saw that you'd done them all with the 80, I was just snarking because I enjoyed the perspective you achieved with the 80 on the first image in the post. Very nicely done and that was more what I was trying to imply. Once I get that Rolleicord in hand I need to get out and do some serious shots. I have a couple of places in mind now as a result of being inspired by your work & Scotts LF work.

You'll love the Rolleicord. Which reminds me, I have to take mine out for a spin next weekend.
45  Gearheads / Bigger Is Better / Re: More fun with a Borrowed Hasselblad 500CM on: September 16, 2012, 06:35:27 PM
Dude. That is what I wish I could do.  Shocked You sure you didn't sneak a wide angle lens in there?  It's you and Scott that have given me the itch for medium format film again - with you especially reminding me, in your various recent threads, how much I love the square in black and white.

Where did I put that jug of HC-110?

Thank you.

William

William, I got a 55 lens in the kit but this was all shot with the 80 f2.8 planar lens.
