What a precious piece of memory.

I know that song, but not because I heard it on LP or CD, but within a computer game called Fallout.
In the game, a DJ played a selection of vintage songs and they play in a loop, so many times until I memorized it.

Doooo ... nottt... beeee .... Hhasteeeee....!

Philip, I use the base of one of those plastic container for filters.
This one happens to have the perfect size to kinda "clicks" onto the Bronica lens mount, which is just a metal tube with some bayonet at the end.

So I just need to make a hole and the lens kinda hang on to the foam inside the plastic base. I can wiggle the lens (super crude tilt control).

This proves to me that those overpriced Holga and Lensbaby products are no match for an 87 years old lens.

But first of all, just found out that the lens used to belong to an Agfa Standard folder from 1926 - 28.

Here are two digital snapshot of the prints (too lazy to scan):


Here we see the typical swirly/softie corners and center sharpness of the lens this vintage.


Here is the one that I did some focal plane adjustment to keep the stick in focus from top to bottom.  Also, I like the super creamy background.

So I'm happy to report that the experiment is a success (at least from my perspective).

The camping is over, and I shot a roll of Pan F with this setup.
Thanks to the ... ehm "feature" of the wobbly lens mount, I get to exercise some focus plane adjustments (think "lensbaby", not like that of a monorail Sinar).

The roll is hanging to dry as I wrote this.
Looks good density-wise.  Hopefully the sharpness held where it counts.

And y'know, since I get my darkroom re-setup, I lost the desire to scan...
Strange, that.

Will find out if it works.
I'll take it camping this weekend.
