Clark Bridge over the Mississippi in Alton, Illinois.  Often called the "Super Bridge," the Clark Bridge links Highways 367 and 67 in Missouri to Alton, Illinois. It replaced the old Clark Bridge that served the area from 1928 to 1994. Design work on the new cable-stayed bridge was started in 1985, and construction began in 1990. The bridge, which has four traffic lanes and two bike lanes, spans 4,260 feet across the Mississippi River. It is made of 8,100 tons of structural steel, 44,100 cubic yards of concrete and more than 160 miles of cable wrapped with four acres of yellow plastic piping. Pilings that support the bridge were driven more than 140

Ah, yes,  Had that happen to not one, but two cameras!  I sent the one in to be repaired (Minolta Z6) and it was back in a few days.  The notes on the invoice said something like "reattach lens shroud."  It was under warranty and they did not charge me, even tho it was my fault.

Bert, my favorite grizzley. Every photo I take of him, he has his head resting on something!

A new juvenile male at our zoo to replace the older one loaned out to another zoo. He looks so huggable!

Thanks for you comments. They are hybrid, arctic fox and marble fox, which is a genetic mutation of the arctic.  You can find ads for these for sale on the net.  What a shame.

I spent Saturday at an Open House for the Wildlife Center of Missouri. These were rescued foxes that now live at the local Wildlife Center. They were hybrids raised as pets until the owners found out they don't make good pets. Now they are unable to be released, so they live here. This is the URL for the whole series. I donated them to the center.

Have your negatives been cut?  If not, have them run them through the developer again. In my experience with out Fuji 350, if the negs just had spots they would clean up nicely, at the very least, better.

Thanks everyone.  I guessed a Midland Brown, too.  But his head looks deformed, and he has those X's by his eyes that didn't fit the description.

He wouldn't have made a good lunch, he was barely an appetizer!

We live by a lake and have water moccasins.  As long as he wasn't one of those he can live in my garden all he wants, if he can just dodge my birds at the feeders!

My son came over today to help me do some planting in my garden. He found a friend to play with. His head looks funny, and I don't know what kind he is, but his eyes are round and in Missouri that means non poisonous. Anyone recognize him?

We quit playing with him when I saw this poor sad face on the monitor recall.  BTW, he was about the size of a pencil.

It may be inside, but it's still spring, lol.

I love the play of shadows in that photo.

Looks like spring is here in Missouri.
