I'm a bit late to the party for your portrait, but it's a good one! And Happy Birthday again!

This is a horse called "One" who my mom and I met when we went for a drive just west of Toronto in Mennonite country, near St. Jacobs, Ontario a few years ago. Little did we know that he was new to the farm, and under quarantine and we shouldn't have petted him. A young woman came down to the road where we were and asked if we had any horses that may pass something to him, and I told her that since I lived in a condo, it was unlikely that I would have a horse!

I have joined the camera club at the university where I work, and have so far only developed negs, but I hope to one day get back into developing prints.  It's been quite a few years since I've been able to do that.  I used to have all the gear for a darkroom, but it was such a pain to use because I had to set it up in my bathroom, which meant I couldn't leave it all up and close the door and come back to it anytime I want.  So I sold the enlarger and just kept the trays, etc.  Even though it's in a corner of your garage, I know you'll have fun in your new darkroom!
