1000 rolls in 220 Shocked Shocked  You need to do some shooting.  I don't even have anything that will take 220.

Send them to me in New Mexico.  Mold doesn't grow at 15% humidity (and that's a humid day around here). Grin

Ron

The Rolleinars are just close-up lenses.  They work fine with 120 film.  They just allow you to focus much closer than the standard lens.  The lens for the viewing lens readjusts your viewing angle to coincide with the closer focusing.  Try them, the're fun to play with.

The snake skin looks cool and the 58mm lens sounds interesting, esp. on 6x12.   But the price and the quality of the lenses will keep me away.  At least until they show up on the used market for next to nothing.

Another one photo a day project.  I thought it very cool, but then again, I'm a sucker for a good tree.

Bill

Looking good.  On my laptop screen, the photos are really sharp.  I'll need to look at them on the the computer.

Was this the 28mm I sold you.  Definitely a sharp lens.

Wonderful photos.  Love the different perspectives.

Always wanted to try a Hasselblad but could never afford one.  So shot a Bronica SQA for years.

Very nice.  Nice to see someone using the Mamiya C class so well.

So you're 'Uncle Bill', small world.  Hope you found a decent price on getting the OM 28mm serviced you got from me over on APUG.

Julio

I find it's easier to use this camera on a monopod instead of handholding.  That way, you can compose and then balance the bubble where you need it.

Also it takes a while to get used to where to put the subject.  The snag in the 3rd photo was probably only 5 feet in front of me.

I've got a newer version, the Horizon 202.  I've only shot a couple of rolls thru it.  I just can't find time to do any photography.

You definitely have a knack for repair.  I've got a Compur shutter in pieces, from a folding 35mm Agfa Solinette, that I'll never get back together (along with other things in the drawers).  I have a mint pre-Ai Nikkor 50mm f1.4 and a mint pre-Ai Nikkor 135 with oily aperture blades that I really don't want to touch.  (I'm really good at taking things apart but not at putting them back together.  I work much better with plants, ergo the forestry degree.)  Maybe I should just box up all my 'repair needed' cameras and send them to you and let you do what you want with them.  Beats leaving them sitting around in a box.

Brian

Man, how big a box would that be?

PM me your address and I see how big the box is.

Now looking at these on a different computer, they are no longer warm tone.  Amazing how one monitor differs from another.  Still looks good.

These are absolutely beautiful, the cars and the photos.  Something about things with design character.  New cars just don't have it.
