Happy Fathers Day Thread

To all of you hardworking, supportive, firmly loving, protective, hopeful fathers out there: Happy Fathers Day!
Today is the very first Fathers Day Katie and I have ever spent together alone. For all the trials and tribulations, I am living my fantasy - that I would one day overcome all the negativity of those who tried to keep her away from me for so many years, and that I would have the opportunity to raise her on my own, to help her overcome the same negativity. My parents failed me, miserably, and I always knew in my heart that I would do my best to be a better father, a better parent. For certain, I'm still working on it.
And I wouldn't trade this moment, this day, this period of time for any amount of money. And I'd walk through fire to do it again, with all the bumps and hard knocks intact.
Best wishes to all.

Craig - Thanks for the wishes, they are returned manyfold. Children are a blessing, parenting a privelege for which there is no second chance. Katie is a lucky girl.

Craig,
Thanks for putting up this thread. Graham has said it so well, I echo his comments.
Katie is now in a garden where she can flourish, and you Craig are the constant, caring and watchful gardener. She is blossoming in front of your eyes and we see it through your cameras' lenses. The metamorphosis is more than physical.
You are a good father!
