It's amazing the things I will do for money ... last weekend I was an assistant signwriter for my delightful friend Carol who occasionally signwrites logos on shipping containers for various companies in Brisbane. We did two containers in two days at the shipping port and I can tell you it was damned hard work ... she does not stop!  Two days amongst the containers, the forklifts, the noise, the pigeons even.  It's a surreal landscape with containers stacked up to seven high and it was the first outing for the new OM-2. It's a great camera ... and it was an eye opening weekend for someone who normally basks in the serenity of the mountains!

Great stuff Keith - I like the first and the last two best. It's amazing seeing those container skyscrapers! Nice tones from that C-41 B&W.

I'd love to get down to the port area for some night shooting some time - the refineries and port would make great subjects I reckon.

Now there's an idea ... when you're ready to do that count me in Wayne! ;-))

ps ... we could call it "Wayne and Keith's excellent adventure."

That'd be fun Keith - we could get chased by security guards together. It's been on my list of places to photograph for a couple of years, but I haven't managed it yet. It is a long way from home... excuse... mumble, grumble...
