She's a beautiful girl.  I like the pose in the first shot quite a bit but, as others have said, the light should be moved a little.  Nice red color to pop out from the black.

She look a little like Clair Danes.

I can see what the others are saying about the first, but I really like it. The pose is interesting, and the red really pops because of the way she is lit. Love the downcast expression. The second one works for me too. Great job.

Ok, they're working this morning. Not sure what adjustment you made, but seems to be resolved.

I went in and turned hotlink protection off.  Weird that I had nelsonfoto listed as an exception, but only some could see the images.?  Oh well.

But hey, back to the image.  Here is a shot of the setup for the photograph.

As you can see, not ideal.  We had planned some nice portrait type shots under this really cool tree in a field at the city park.  Well, some guys decided to set up a kickball game, bases and all.  They stood by us for like 20 minutes waiting for us to leave.  Kelly got uncomfortable, understandably, so we left and tried to find another spot.  Seemed like everyone was at the park that day and I couldn't find another spot.  So, we decided to try setting up under one of the shelters, which just happened to have electricity.

Anyway, camping chairs to hold down the paper because of some crazy wind, along with some clamps to keep it pinned against the stand.  With the setting sun, I had to push her and the backdrop over to keep that sun light from getting to much into the picture.  That put me up against the picnic tables, which were bolted and chained down so I couldn't scoot 'em.

I wish now that I had pushed the softbox up higher and brought it around more.  Also, had the wind not been so bad, or had I brought more weights I could have set my reflector on that dark side to help fill some, but it was not be.  After all of that, I was running out of time, so I just took what I could get.  It was fun though and I learned a little bit, so thanks again to everyone for commenting on the images for me.  It helps a a lot!

Excellent, and good of you to give us the set-up shot.
