Sometimes it's not the money

A little while back I got a call from the editor of New Hampshire To Do. The publication was not known to me, but I was pleased to have someone ask me to write an article for them. The subject was the Manchester, New Hampshire airport during WWII, and he had seen my internet articles on the subject. I replied that I unfortunately didn't have the time, but gave him carte blanche to use my material.

True to his word, he sent me a copy of the March 2008 issue of New Hampshire To Do with the article nicely written by a Ms. Randee Rae Martin. Three of the photos I had supplied to him on CD were used, and I received a nice write up and plug for my website. I have already had another interesting contact as a result of this.

I'm bringing this up because it was a positive experience, made possible through photography and the internet.
