... with my friends Dennis and James.  Here are my four favs:

Dennis, Reed, and James, in order.  As you can imagine, it was tough to keep all the attractive young women away, but we're all married men!

Had a great time, fellas.  Looking forward to the next outing.

Reed,

Great shots.  Let me add my favorites too:

Also at Great Falls, VA (200mm/4 Zuiko)

Along the Potomac (200mm/4 Zuiko)

Some kids along the way (135mm/3.5 Zuiko)

Colvin Run Mill, Fairfax VA (35mm/2.8 Zuiko)

The mill's interior. (35mm/2.8 Zuiko)

Looking forward to seeing James' results too, and even more to our next group grope.

Dennis has been a busy beaver (having shot film).  A couple of mine below.

Straight from the camera (only a little sharpening on #2):

Great Pictures guys.  I am visiting my daughter who lives in Germantown Md and was thinking about going to the falls today.  Instead we drove an hour north to Gettysburg and spent all day at the battlefield.

I don't have time to post any pictures tonight, maybe tomorrow.  What a great visit and the views and pictures were great.

Maybe tomorrow or the next day I will get to hike along the Potomac.  I am enjoying the visit but will have to go back to Washington State in a few days.

Have to go back?  Washington is so gorgeous!

Hope you have a great visit, and look forward to your post.

Dennis,

#1 and #3 are outstanding!  That fog really showed up well for you.

James - those fences are always photogenic.  Nice job!

I'm not going to pick out favorites, suffice to say that there are some outstanding shots here from all concerned.  Bravo!

Amen to what Graham said.

All three of you gentlemen did a splendid job. I had no idea there are dramatic falls along the Potomac.  I'm putting it on my list of places to visit.

Thanks for sharing your combo photo shoot and trek.

Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing these images!

I thought that the Potomac was just something running through D.C.  It is a beautiful place!

Yes, nice shooting from the three of you!  It looks like a beautiful place.  Always good to see members' faces, too.

Holy cow! Great teamwork, producing great shots. You all did great, and sounds like you had a good time at it, too. My local creek doesn't inspire me like THAT!
