My main concern with Olga is her dim viewfinder. I took all photos within 24 hours, and I mainly used an uncoupled 25mm lens by Voightlaender-Cosina. Olga also gives you trouble using any external viewfinder. At least, the ones I own will not fir in the flash bracket/holder well, and this made focusing a guessing game. I decided not to use any meter, even though I had a spotmeter with me, to make things more interesting. The supplied lens seems to be sharp and contrasty, and it would have been interesting to use only this lens. Please let me know your input on the results posted. I hope I did well. I had the film scanned at Sam's Club with their Fuji Frontier machine and then I used ADOBE Photoshop to slightly change contrast and brightness to make the images appear better on the screen. Let me know to whom to send Olga next. I am limited to one roll of film, and the work is done.

Raid, very nice results! Congrats! Now to next in line, CE Nelson. Pensacola seems a quite photogenic town, and you got to use a variety of lenses. Any of these photos were taken with the travelling lens?
Your daughter's pictures are wonderful. You are fortunate in having such a good model! And I like also the Greek festival dance photos - not an easy lighting and you guessed right.
Which images you like best?
Tonalities are very pleasant throughout.

Tonalities are very pleasant throughout. Julio: I described which photos were taken with the Russian lens; they are the three photos of Bayou Texar. The lens is sharp and contrasty and there is no need for any other lens here, but I used my 35/1.8 the most. Yes, I am happy about my correct exposure guesses at the Greek festival last night. I will take a look at my PM.

Raid,
You did an excelent job with Olga, All your picturs are outstanding.
Youhave a beautitiful model, seems she likes to be photographied and your town is nice also.
If you want you can take more pictures, as long as you respect the 7 days time limit.
Thanks for sharing your vision of where you live.

The original lens for that camera is an Industar 26m, The one I sent with the camera is an Industar 61 that is supposed to be the best russian lens of tessar (4 elements) configuration.
I tested the two lenses before sending Olga to its travel and the best picures were with the supplied lens. I am glad that you confirmed that it worked fne for you.

Miztli: Your Industrar 61 lens is an excellent lens. I have no doubts about it. As for keeping Olga longer, I would be violating the rule for using more than one roll ... am I or not? I don't mind doing so if this is fine with the rules.

Raid, we have no rules about number of rolls or frames, just the seven days. I misunderstood the rules then. Oh well. I already mailed this morning camera and lens to Craig.
