I've found  a 35mm to Series VI adapter amongst all my loose photo gear. It is the type that has adjustable fingers that allow adjustment to match diameters above and below 35mm. It is the push-on type manufactured by Chess United.

It doesn't seem to be the right size for any of the many lenses I have. Can anyone  tell me what len(ses) it would fit on?  I'd like to trade it for some other photo accessory, but would like to know what len(ses) it would fit on, first.

Thanks in advance,

 Les Gediman

I have a bookmark that used to lead to a cheat sheet on Series adapters and hoods, but now it is a 404.

I have a series VI adapter that says 40mm attached to a hood that says it is for a Canon 50mm f1.8, 35mm f2.8 and a 35mm f3.2. I think my Serenar 35mm f2.8 (a chrome one) has nearly a 35mm filter ring size (outside diameter) so I'll trade with you - my 40mm adapter for your 35mm adapter - if that will do you any good. Let me know.

Swap is underway with Jorn, so the answer to my question is moot.

Thanks Jorn! I'm sending out the 35mm to series VI adapter this morning.
