One of my customers gave me a ton of slides, 6x9 and 35mm negatives to scan, in those nice yellow aluminum cans that Kodak used in the 50's... One of the cans held an exposed but unprocessed roll of film. I haven't kept up with the processing aspect of "found film", and am hoping somebody can give me some suggested starting points. I only have one roll of 20 exp. plus x, so my usual process of snip testing would leave me little. Any suggestions?

I do have benzotriazole, HC-110, D76 and can mix up a metol or PQ developer as well.

I had very limited luck with old 35mm rolls. The fog is usually high.

Emir, I noticed in your posting that you're not using any benzo, any particular reason? Also, if you can find some HC110R (replenisher) you may find it works better when you need a "hotter" developer.

-- (IMHO) benzotriazole is lovering fog but it is also eating the actual image. Plus, HC-110 is low fog developer. Plus, at the low temperature I use the fog is lower. Plus, you never know if the fog is actually a problem. Some of the rolls have no fog at all. All in all, it is better to find the development compromise where fog is still manageable.

-- I have seen the replenisher online. Have you used it as a developer? What are the dilutions?

I just got a bottle of HC-110R because they quit making it and also for that Hotter developer you mentioned. Freestyle still has some.
