Starting yesterday, I noticed it was hard to get IMG code from Photobucket. Today it's impossible. I'm guessing it has a lot to do with Adobe, who claims I need updates to my Adobe Flash Player  (10.1)  to improve all images.

It was after I clicked "OK", I haven't been able to get the code needed to post on Nelsonfoto. Don't know if it's new or not but there is a box "suggesting" I share my album with Facebook, twitter, MySpace  or email

Then a note appears above Photobucket page saying I need new plug in to see images. Clicking on it , a window appears showing progress  by "Plug in Finder Service"that just keeps running its blue bar for a long, long time then announces the installation of plug-ins failed. What APITA!  Is this a type of SPYware?

What other source can I use instead of Photobucket  to upload my photos toNelsonfoto?

Les - Do you mean that you can't see any images, or that you don't see the drop-down that gives all the IMG codes?  If the latter, go to Account Settings / Album Settings / Link Options and be sure that appropriate boxes are checked.  Account Settings is accessed from the drop-down by clicking the little symbol next to your login name (upper right of the screen).

If you think your Adobe Flash isn't up to date, you may want to check that and install if necessary independently of being on Photobucket.

Good luck!

James,

I do see oin the left side of the Photobucket page, a partial portion of the codes in the drop down menu for Emails & IMs, Direct Link, HTML code and IMG code,  but I can't highlight them or copy them, anymore

If I click on the photo, I get a larger version with the same menu of codes on the right hand side with more of the codes but not all and once again, I can/t copy the codes by highlighting them or using Control C.

I'll try your suggestion of trying to get the updated plugins outside of Photobucket. I thought this was a devious gimmick to have a 3rd party give me the updated plugins, but open my laptops to a tsunami of ads.

Thanks for speedy reply.

I started a thread on unusual shaped trees in Classical forum, as I took it with my EM with early Nikkor lens. I used Flickr as an indirect substitute for Photobucket to show my pics on Nelsonfoto.

Photobucket changed their default user interface.  Now you need to set the cursor on the thumbnail of the photo you want. After half a second, the options to share appear below the photo. You can then lower your cursor to the IMG entry and click, it is copied automatically. Then you go to where you want to use the link, and paste it.

You can get the links to show always (instead of mouse-over mode) by adjusting your Account Settings, accessed as said above, little triangle next to your login name, upper right corner. Go to Album options, then Show Links - select always instead of mouse-over.

Let us know if this solves it!

Les - This section of Photobucket 'help' http://pic.pbsrc.com/help/Content/Troubleshooting/Checklist.htm may be useful, if you are still having problems.
