Hi, all -

Since I haven't posted anything in a while, here's a little synopsis of my year, photographically.  I shot dozens of sheets of film, 4x5 to 10x12.  Some still life, a little landscape, and the balance portrait.  I don't know that I ever hit the mark, but some of them seem like they were close.  Here're a few of the ones I was happy with:

Like I said, I shot a lot of sheet film this year.  Hope you enjoy.  Thanks for looking.

Great Scott!

They're all good but "Grandpa" is the winner for me..... that shallow DOF is pretty nice!

Thanks, everyone!  I appreciate your kind words.  I feel like I'm homing in on something, finally.  'Course now I have no time to shoot anything anymore...

Scott,

After all my talk about being a fan, I missed this thread till now. I'm partial to your portraits, but the still lifes are also top notch.

My favorites are:

1) Braedan 3) Grandpa 6) Maddie 7) Bottles 8)Three flowers 11) Maddie 12) Braedan

Thanks for posting them.

Happy too see you back on the forum Scott !
I have seen most of the images on your flickr/LFPF earlier, but still nice too see them all in one post =)
I still like the "grandpa" the most =) And its crazy too how much your kids have grown just since I joined this forum, and after looking at older images you have posted.

ps. Good luck in your new job I read about on your blog ! =)

Scott - just saw this - talk about hit the mark! They are terrific.  Those first three remind me of Karsh.

Braedan has certainly grown up.  That is a great portrait and the tones and contrast bring out the young man so well.

happy New Year and keep it up - let's see more
