Would appreciate a bit of advice.  I have a roll of Ilford XP2 in the Hexar AF and it's nearly finished.
Been shooting it at 320 ISO

I think I've seen people on the net posting examples of XP2 and the Kodak C41 B&W processed in the chemicals designed for used with the more common silver halide films such as FP4 and so on.  I'm pretty sure I saw an example recently developed in Rodinal.

Questions:
(a)  does it work if I use any (and if so, which) of my stocks of D76, Ilfosol 3 or Ilfotec L29?
(b)  is it worth it?
(c)  if yes to both, what developing time(s) - depending on developer - at 20 degrees C or some other suggested temp?

many thanks

Dan

Dan, results will be inferior to processing in C-41, which is what the film is intended for. XP2 gives excellent results in C-41.

I know that you are a careful shooter, and in your place I'd hate to risk damage to good pictures. I'd send that XP2 to a minilab and save the chemicals for traditional B&W film, unless there is some good reason for experimenting (such as the fun of it ).

I just decided to try this again... Negatives are hanging to dry. I used a mix of Rodinal and Xtol... .. they look sweet.
