Developed these a few weekends ago and scanned on the V700.  Just imported them into Lightroom beta 4.  Played around with split-toning on a couple (don't really know what that is yet - must read something about it).  I am finding Lightroom much quicker than Aperture.

a kind lady passing by offered to take this after watching me hog the path while taking the following shot of Anne on her bike.
M4 - Summitar (50mm f2.0) at about f5.6 with Legacy Pro 100 (and that film for all that follow)

Summitar at f2.8

Marilyn at f2.0 on the Summitar (I remember that clearly!) and I think 1/20th - I like this quirky place with its bric-a-brac

no filter - Summitar at about f8

Summitar on the M4 taken by Anne in a hurry at f2.8 - we were in a dense rain-forest area and the mosquitoes attacked like hornets as soon as we stopped - the bike fell over and we were being bitten to death, but Annie got the shot
P.S. I have a soft spot for this lens.  It is as old as me.  We were both born in 1948.

Nice shots from the multiple shooters, Dan.  That first one shows one heckuva great looking couple!
I reckon you were (are!) both a "catch".    : )

Lovely stuff, Dan. Impressed that the passer-by knew how to operate a rangefinder -- or at least didn't move around much from where you'd already set the focus. :-)

Beautiful!
You have a lovely looking partner, Dan. She radiates "nice". [you are OK too!]

Dan,

Always a pleasure to see Anne and her constant companion. No, not the bike! I mean her dear husband.

I like the first shot taken against the light by a passing stranger, but the shot of Anne in front of the gnarled trunk is a true gem of a photo.  Bravo!

Viva Anne! Viva Dan! and Viva la Summitar.!

Dan, great series.  Looks like lovely weather (a contrast from New England, USA right now).  I'm impressed you held off from the "Australian salute" while posing for the last picture.

Tell Anne she needs to always wear the helmet, not just "have it."

PF & Larry - many thanks for commenting.
Dean - quite right! "multiple shooters" - I had overlooked the fact.
P.S.  'she' was the only catch.
Robert - I set it up for the lady passing by - but I must say she absorbed a 10 second instruction session on how to frame and shoot amazingly well.
Raid - you have hit the nail on the head - I don't think I have heard it put better - "radiates nice" - thank you.
Les the Summitar Supremo! thank you too.
Nick! - I was in such pain from the attacks of the mosquitos it did not occur to me to send the Aussie salute! I'll try to include it another time ;-)

Lovely series. I like the picture of Annie in her bike with a background of trees.

P.S.  'she' was the only catch.

A singular point of view, Dan.  I see she is still with you, too....

Dan, your bride has the legs of a 30-year-old.  Lucky bastard.  Wink  Nice shots all-round.  I'm glad you're posting with some frequency, sir.

Sorry I didn't notice the extra comments here - just wanted to thank you all.

Julio - the girl on the bike with the background of trees and clouds was an attempt at those wonderful photos you see from the heyday of b&w - usually german girls exercising with great energy in the late 1930s

Dean - touche!

Pete - yeah, nice legs - I once made the mistake of telling her she had sturdy legs - didn't know what hit me!

Thanks Murphy - I am getting very fond of the Summitar
