«

I this camera for a person on this site, can't remember who but make no difference now.
I just took it out to look at and have decided to try it out.
It has the Helios 44 mm lens, I am wondering if any of my scewmount lens will work on it?

I would think most of your M42's would be okay to use, Ronald. The only thing you have to watch out for is the ones where the rear element sticks way out the back, mostly on wide angles. They could hang up on the mirror.
I haven't tried any on my TTL because it's a wreck (shutter curtains fell apart).

should be okay for 99% of m42 lenses. and if it's any FSU m42 there should be no issues at all.

Some super TAK lenses have been known to get stuck on the mount because of the location of the stop down pin. I have never had it happen.

Yeah, what Larry said -- I had a Z-TTL from him and a Japanese-made M42 got stuck for the longest time. I was about ready to take a BFH* to it but it finally came away.

Thanks guys, the meter doesn't work either. I think I will put a cheap roll thru it and use a hand meter. Will be a chance to try out some of my older screw mounts, retro focus type ?
