These are some images that I took on the same day that I witnessed the teacher's protest march, in and around Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross and London Victoria. All taken with the Canon Powershot A640.

The National Gallery from Trafalgar Square with the 2012 Olympics countdown clock centre left.

The 2012 Olympics countdown clock in Trafalgar Square.

The National Gallery - The National Portrait Gallery is just behind it - such a magnificent building just to house images of faces.....and stuff.....

This plinth always has something different on it - this time it was a child riding a rocking horse. There's a message there somewhere, but I can't think what it is!

This is the plinth opposite the child on the rocking horse - maybe this is the message....it's George IV

These guys look out over Trafalgar Square from the steps of St Paul's church.

London's iconic telephone boxes (not called "booths") which BT want to abolish! I'm always amazed when I come across one of these out in the countryside, miles from anywhere.

The Lamborghini showroom at London Victoria - I wonder if the guy selling "The Proletariat" newspapers (image in my set titles "Teacher's Protest") approves?
