Here's a couple of photos from a few weeks ago that were "made" by the sun shining at just the right angle and me being there at just the right time.
The "111" sign is on an old building I've often walked past, and usually the window just looks like a window, if you know what I mean. This time though the sun was hitting it at just the right angle (elevation and angle) so that it made the window look like it was glowing. Sort of like something from a Dr Who scene.
So, now you know the number to dial if you have an emergency while in New Zealand

This is the floor of the train station shelter. Usually it is too early or late when I'm there for any shadow action, but this time I was there with my son during the day - it was going to be his first trip on the new trains. New trains that replaced the old trains, most of which had entered service in the mid to late 50's!

So, post away pictures of familiar places where the light has been just right, making you look again at the mundane.
