Some of you might have noticed my offer a few weeks ago to provide several Spotmatics that needed work in return for one back repaired. The only person who took me up on it was Julio1fer, in Montevideo, Uruguay. I sent off three Spotmatics to him, he took them to his local guy, and, at my request, took the one that was coming back to me for a test run. You can see his pictures, of his dog and the Tour of Uruguay bike race here:  http://nelsonfoto.com/SMF/index.php/topic,25122.msg218015.html#msg218015

I got the camera, and took it to Nationals Park, where the red-hot Nationals were getting ready to face the Miami Marlins. It was also the first of three "Pups in the Park" days the Nats scheduled this year -- owners paid $30 admissions for themselves and their dogs - $8 of which (the dog admission) went to the Humane Society.

Here are some pregame photos I took with the Spotmatic II and either a 55mm f 1.8 Takumar or a 250mm Vivitar f 4.8 in T-mount:

Here's where my seats are, which is why I don't have many action photos of the games:

Film was expired "Polaroid 400", marked "Made in Germany", so probably rebranded Agfa. Thanks again to Julio1fer and his accomplished tech!

Well done Tadas! Very glad to see that your nice SP II arrived safely.

I like the people with dogs series. You could have used a 500mm!
