Such an architecturaly interesting city.  Your shots of the "Battery Park Apartments", "Walking Wall Street", and "Old and New" highlight perfectly the mix of styles and ages of the NYC skyline.

I like this series very much. My favorite is the Wall St. shot. Good sharpness and tones, overall. Long live the square!

I think if I lived in NYC for a year, I still would not run out of photographic material to shoot. Now if I were to fly back down tomorrow night the Rolleicord will still be in the bag. I rather take that then my Rolleiflex to NYC, saving weight is everything when walking a city like that.
For my 35mm kit, I would switch out my OM-1md for my OM-2n because of the better metering and find a 24 f2.8 lens.

More specifically I mastered the TLR. I have temporary custody of my brother's Hasselblad 500c,  a very nice camera which you get to see the output once I got all my NYC images squared away. To be honest I prefer my Rolleicord and Rolleiflex. I do a lot of shooting on the fly and the 'Blad is just not that kind of camera.

"Walking Wall Street" is glorious.

I'm reminded that Wall Street gets it's name from the fact that it follows across Manhattan the route of the outer wall of the old Dutch colony. Beyond it was the wilderness in all it's glory. There was an amazing article in National Geographic a year or two ago on what Manhattan was like in those days. I can't help but be bemused when I ponder what Henry Hudson might think of the modern city.

Bill - Sorry to be late in complimenting you on these great images.  I particularly like Walking Wall St.  I'll be in NYC for a week next month, and your photos make me even more anxious to get there.

My advice from my recent NYC trip, choose your shoes carefully because you will be doing a lot of walking and choose your camera gear carefully because, you will have to carry it everywhere.

Good advice, Bill.  I plan to (probably) go very light on the photo gear (at least during any one daily jaunt).
