The $2.99 Olympus XA
«

Recently on my Sunday Goodwill adventure with my son I found this box and opened it up. It was an Olympus XA in the original box. No flash but for $2.99 I just had to grab it.

Great shots. And for $2.99 . . . who could complain?
And who needs that flash anyway? (I've had two XA's that wouldn't sync with their flashes, so I think they're best flashless anyway.)

Well looking at the going prices on the interwebs for it in this condition makes me think the money could be used for other things :-)

XA is a great camera. I loved mine until it decided to snap the aperture blades apart. Oh well.
Great shots there Larry - I like the Bush/Cheney sticker but the "Stop" from inside the car is what really got me. Awesome.

LOL The Stop was a crash down a 2 lane one way street when I was at a stop sign. Yes I photograph and drive. I changed lanes a few seconds later.
Thanks.
