As you all know, my Best Beloved has amazing green fingers, and has won the local garden competition many times.  This year, however, she decided not to enter, but if she had, and the judges had seen the garden today, I think that she would have won again.  I am in awe of the sight that greets me when I walk into our garden.

Graham (and Noelin),

The garden is gorgeous.  And the photography does it justice.  My congratulations to you both.

Noelin, do you have a count of how many different species of flowers you have?

Thanks for making the day look so sunny.

An amazing garden, and excellent pictures to show it off. At times I wish that I had more than a brown thumb. I seem to kill any plant I'm put in charge of, at least my kids are still growing like weeds.  Grin

That is not a garden - it is a poem!  Congratulations!

I like the picture of the bird housing among the flowers.

Noelin says to tell you all that you are her best audience - and thank you all for your appreciation.

Graham, and Noelin,

Thanks once again for the yearly treat of seeing Noelin's garden. What a broad spectrum of colors she has in her floral palette, which Noelin arranges so preciselyl.  It is a bountiful bouquet of a garden.

I love the play of a small group of flowers, each a unique color, juxtaposed against the subtle variation of herbal green that makes a cyclorama: the background for her proscenium wall.

Fine examples are found in photos 4, 6 and 7

Congratulations Noelin! You deserves the town's golden garden glove award whether you officially compete or not.

Bravissima!

So beautiful, you are so lucky to have such a talented wife.  I can almost smell the flowers!

Wonderful to see the primo garden again. I can grow nothing, so I'm truly in awe of such talents. I'm wondering if she could teach the subject of gardening, I see her qualifications right here in your photos!

A great-aunt on my Dad's side of the family could have given Noelin a run for her money.  We don't have a lot of photos of her place, but I remember a couple of visits we made before they both had to go into a nursing home.  It was a wonderful place to see, and she still kept it looking beautiful well into her eighties.  May Noelin keep your garden looking wonderful for many more years, Graham.  And you keep sending us photos of it.
