For those who like shooting with Chinese film this is what Shanghai GP3 looks like processed in HC110 Dilution B for 7.5 minutes.
This was shot around 7:30PM, Oakville, Ontario, Canada with a Rolleicord IV K3B and metered at box speed with a Sekonic L398a meter.

Yes it is good film if you don't get a roll where the backing paper bleeds through.

Here's another one from the same roll and thanks for the tip Larry on the paper backing.

Looks sharp enough. Contrast on the north side of normal, could there be a bit of overdevelopment? (it might well be the scanning).
I have 9 rolls of GP3 to shoot after I finish some old HP5+.

That was my question/hunch. Seems like there's good things going on here, just needs to get dialed in a bit.

I shot the roll of Shanghai on a very clear bright early evening before sunset. What I should do is shoot a roll on an overcast day and see what I get with that.

Seeing quite a bit of grain in the sky too, suggests overdevelopment.
Best in these conditions to shoot 1 ISO step slower (400 to 200) then chop development times by 20%
