Re: APUG Conference Photo Exhibition
         
           On May 4th 2006 is the Gala opening night for the APUG Conference and exhibition to be held at the Elevator Gallery 42 Industrial Street Toronto. As part of the APUG Conference and Contact Photo Festival, the APUG Photo Exhibition will be juried by Bob Carnie and will be open to all traditional forms of film photography. The exhibition will be open to the public from May 5th to May 30th, the duration of the Contact Photo Festival.


The Rules (short form)
            The APUG Photo exhibition is open to entries from APUG members with a limit of 2 pieces of work. To optain a membership, please visit http://apug.org and they are free. All works submitted to the APUG Exhibition have to be created by film camera: 35mm, medium format, large format and using traditional darkroom techniques. Background
              The APUG Conference is being held from May 4-7, 2006 in Toronto at the Elevator Digital Labs by the Analog Photography Users Group to celebrate and promote the use of film in the photographic process. Over the course of three days the conference/tradeshow event will highlight workshops, lectures, product demonstrations, and tours of Southern Ontario. Founded in 2002, The Analog Photography Users Group is an international online community of 10,000+ members of professional and amateur photographers devoted to the use of traditional film photography as an art-form.
