I will be travelling to Little Rock, to have a pacemaker installed, and will go up a few days early to sightsee. Anyone know of any must sees. the VA hospital is right behind the new capitol

The Capital buildings are pretty bland. Check out the Clinton Library for sure. I haven't been to it yet, but it's not that important to drive 3 hours to see, for us. You'll find trendy shops and eateries down by the river near the Cap.  Should find plenty to shoot.

Thanks, I have to have a combo defibilltor/pacemaker installed. Had a very bad heart attack in '02. I will do some street shooting but was looking for some scenic. How is the LR zoo?

Never been there. If you have time, take a run over to Hot Springs. I think you will maybe find more there that you're looking for. The Ouachitas are nice, too. Lots of coniferous forest there.

I have been up to Lake Catherine and to several of the falls around Petite Jean. My brother used to live in Russelville. I was up there on a camping trip last spring. Won't have but a day so that is out but thanks anyway
