Little sucker has one of the clearest/sharpest viewfinders I've ever seen. Rivals the sport finders of days of yore.

I already ran a trial roll of expired Fujicolor 200 through mine, can't wait to get the film developed. However, I think some gears or something stripped out while I was using it, since it no longer makes a "clicking" sound while winding, and the winding wheel feels loose. However, the shutter appeared to fire, and the film stopped at each frame appropriately. Should be interesting!

I'm sorry, but I do have good news! This camera comes with a full warranty! All you need to do is send it pre-paid with a check for $10 to cover return shipping. I will evaluate the camera and may repair or replace it. Just kidding, I have extras still, so if yours bites it, let me know I can mail you a new one, Keith

Well, I didn't get a hand carry to my door from the government minion -- but she left it in that black plastic box of which I've posted photos a couple times (along with the cell phone bill -- oh joy). So, I have a keychain coin bank that can double as a camera. I'll be ordering film from J&C tonight or tomorrow, and will include a couple rolls of the Ferrania, and in a few days I'll be ready to put the tiny device through its paces.
I note that this must have the simplest shutter known to man -- two moving parts and a spring. When the film advances, it tensions the shutter by pulling on the sensor "finger" until that reaches the advance stop; when you press the release (on the back) it disengages the finger from the film, allowing it to run back to its rest position under spring power, taking the shutter with it. Going that way, it's open, but it caps when pulled forward by the film. Speed looks like 1/60 or so and the lens is probably f/8, which suggests it'd be good with ISO 100 in general outdoor use, but should be fine with 200. And might collect something in a bright interior with ISO 400 (normally, I'd shoot at f/5.6 and 1/30 in a grocery store or similar), but should certainly be good in pretty deep shade.

And so it begins. I think I want to try a few flash pictures with mine. I think if I'm quick enough, a nice blue flash bulb can be synched by hand. Camera in one hand, flash in the other. ?

Got any focal plane bulbs? If you can't eyeball synch those, someone better shovel dirt over you before you get too ripe...

Got mine today too. As luck would have it, I grabbed another at a thrift in Aberdeen WA over the weekend, along with a Polaroid Square Shooter that will soon go under the blade. Anyway, this is one deliciously crude camera! I'm stoked to get shooting.

Yeah, got FP bulbs but not in blue. Well maybe there's a 2-A blue one up there somewhere. Hard to tell when I have to dig through 1100 or so.

Keith
My daughter and I got ours a few days ago. We are going camping this weekend so we both decided to take them and a few other cameras. Since it is a fun camping trip we both decided to take the 110s and the 2 fantastic plastic cameras we both own. Yes she had to have one of the Fantastic Plastic 35mms after she saw the unique pictures mine took. So she is game for this photocontest but she did want me to tell you to please be easy on her because this is the first contest she has ever entered. I told her you people would be because you are all nicer than her own father.
Thanks again for a chance to do more bonding in a positive way with one of my children.
Larry
